Irreemplazable is a Spanish and Spanglish fare album by American R&B singer Beyoncé Knowles. Originally released as a bonus disc on the deluxe edition of B'Day, it was released on August 28, 2007 in the United States as an EP.[3] At the same time, a CD/DVD combo was released exclusively at Wal-mart. The DVD features a behind-the-scenes documentary entitled "La Evolución Latina de Beyoncé (Beyoncé's Latin Evolution)", as well as the music video for Beyoncé's "Get Me Bodied" (Timbaland remix) featuring Voltio. [4][5] The EP sold 50,000 copies in the United States with a total of 100,000 sold worldwide, being a lower seller than her remix album.[citation needed]

Promotion

Knowles appeared on Mi TRL on August 2, 2009 and premiered a behind-the-scenes special entitled, "Making of the Spanish Album", among other programs. Knowles was also given special coverage on MTV Tr3s one month leading to the release of the EP.

Reception

Giving it two and a half stars, Andy Kellman of Allmusic said that "there's not that much to the disc," and alleged that it was unnecessary, concluding "if you're a die-hard Beyoncé fan, you'll probably feel jerked around a bit — especially if you bought B'Day when it came out in September 2006 and bought the deluxe edition seven months later, only to find out that the bonus material would later come out on its own (with a track not on the second disc of the deluxe edition!)."
