J. C. Diwakar Reddy is an Indian politician and a member of parliament from Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. He won the Indian general election, 2014 being an Telugu Desam Party candidate.[1]He heads the panel of Food and Consumer affairs.

Political career

He has been elected 6 terms to Assembly, out of 5 times to the Assembly from the Tadipatri constituency faction ridden Anantapur District. JC was part of the YS Rajasekhar Reddy cabinet during 2004-2009 as Minister for Panchayat Raj and endowment departments . He was denied entry into the cabinet in 2009 and also later in N. Kiran Kumar Reddy’s ministry in 2010. He also has business like mining and Diwakar travels .[2]

Personal life

JC graduated in Bachelor of Science. He has one son and daughter, he is arch rival of the late Paritala Ravi group in the district. He is available to the people in most of the scenarios. He developed the tadipatri town in many no of ways. He was also sworn as Protem Speaker.
