Jaani is a Punjabi songwriter from Gidderbaha, Punjab, India.[2] He is notable for his work with composer B Praak on the soundtrack song "Soch".[3][4]
Early life
Jaani Johan was born in Gidderbaha, near Muktsar Sahib. He completed his schooling at SSD Memorial School Gidderbaha. He graduated from Rayat and Bahara College, Kharar, Punjab, in 2012.
Career
He started his career with a religious song, "Sant Sipahi", in 2012. However, he is best known for the song "Soch", sung by Hardy Sandhu and composed by B Praak. The music video of this song was directed by Arvindr Khaira. A Hindi version of "Soch" was released as well.
Jaani is also a good music composer, he composed almost all of his written songs.
Since "Soch", B Praak, Jaani, Arvindr Khaira, and Hardy Sandhu have worked as a team, producing Punjabi songs, such as "Joker", "Backbone" and "HornBlow".[5][6]
