Jacob Townsend (born 20 June 1993) is a professional Australian rules footballer who plays for the Richmond Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was recruited by the Greater Western Sydney Giants through zoning concessions.[1] He made his debut in round 1, 2012 against Sydney at ANZ Stadium.[2]

In October 2015, he was traded to Richmond.[3]
