Jacobus "Jacques" Smalle is a South African politician, currently a Member of the Limpopo Provincial Legislature for the Democratic Alliance. In June 2012, he defeated incumbent Desiree van der Walt to become the new DA provincial leader for Limpopo.[1]

Smalle previously served as a DA Member of Parliament and was Deputy Shadow Minister of Arts and Culture from 2010 to 2014. He has two sons Pierre and Juan- Jacques.
