Jessica Elizabeth Pray (born August 20, 1992) is an American beauty pageant titleholder and soprano opera singer from Johnston, Iowa, who was named Miss Iowa 2011.

Biography

She won the title of Miss Iowa on June 11, 2011, when she received her crown from outgoing titleholder Pauli Mayfield.[1][2] She went on to place in the Top Ten at the Miss America 2012 pageant.

Pray is a graduate student at the Yale School of Music at Yale University working toward a Master of Music degree in Voice. Pray graduated from the University of Iowa in 2015 with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and a Bachlor of Arts in Ethics and Public Policy.[3] She was a member of the London-based contemporary-classical vocal trio Moda, along with Lucy Ely of London and Hana Huljic of Croatia.[4]
