JetXtra.com is a virtual airline that offers charter flights charter from the United Kingdom to Spain using aircraft from other airlines.

History

JetXtra.com was founded in 2012. Upon initial launch the company was subject to a legal objection by Jet2.com, a dispute over the use of the word 'jet' caused a delay to the start of flights.[1]

In December 2012 JetXtra.com announced flights would commence from May 2013 from Humberside Airport.[2] Flights commenced on 28 May 2013 using a Volotea Boeing 717.[3] For the summer season of 2014 JetXtra operated services to Alicante and Palma de Mallorca from Humberside, using a BA CityFlyer Embraer E-Jet aircraft.[4]
