Jeremy Miles Ferguson (born January 7, 1986), who goes by the stage name "Jinxx," is an American guitarist, pianist, and violinist, best known for being in the American rock band Black Veil Brides, and has been in the band since mid-2009. He has also played in the bands The Dreaming, Amen, The Drastics, and Team Cybergeist.[1][2][3][4] He got his first guitar when he was two, and started playing live shows with his father at the age of eight.[1] He is heavily influenced by classical music and classical composers, such as Bach and Beethoven.[2] The first album he ever owned was Metallica's fourth album, ...And Justice for All, and he learned every track from start to finish.[5] On June 21, 2011, Jinxx proposed to his girlfriend Sammi Doll, and announced via Twitter that she said "yes" and that they are now engaged. On the same day of the engagement, Sammi Doll posted a picture of the ring Jinxx proposed with.[6][7] He and fellow Black Veil Brides guitarist Jake Pitts won Revolver Magazine's Golden Gods Award for "Best Guitarists 2012".[8][9]
