Jonathan Brown (cinematographer)

Jonathan Brown is an American cinematographer and television director.
Career
[edit]Throughout his career, Brown would frequently serve as cinematographer on films directed by Shawn Levy, working with him on Big Fat Liar, Just Married, Cheaper by the Dozen, The Pink Panther and The Internship.[1] In June 2008, Brown was invited to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.[2] Beginning in 2014, he served as a frequent cinematographer on episodes of the CBS drama series Madam Secretary. He would soon switch to directing episodes with Learan Kahanov taking over Brown's cinematography duties.[3]
Personal life
[edit]Brown is the son of Garrett Brown, a cinematographer who invented Steadicam.[4]
