Juicy Juice is an American brand of juices and juice concentrates targeted toward children and sold in the United States using the slogan "100% juice for 100% kids."[1]

History

Juicy Juice was introduced by Libby's (then a subsidiary of Nestlé) in 1977.[2] Prior to March 2006, it was known as Libby's Juicy Juice. It was then labeled under the Nestlé parent brand. In 2000, Juicy Juice introduced Kiwi Strawberry. In 2002, Juicy Juice introduced the Cranberry Apple flavor until it was discontinued in 2021. In 2004, Juicy Juice introduced the Apple Grape flavor, but discontinued in 2010. In 2006, Juicy Juice discontinued the Strawberry, Watermelon, Peach, Banana, Raspberry, Pear and Lemon flavors, replacing them with Strawberry Banana, which was introduced in the same year. In 2007, Juicy Juice introduced Apple Banana (but was discontinued in 2010) and Apple Raspberry. Juicy Juice introduced Harvest Surprise flavors in 2007 and Immunity flavors in 2009. In 2010, Punch was replaced by Fruit Punch. In 2014, Juicy Juice introduced Peach Apple and Strawberry Watermelon flavors, and Nestlé sold the Juicy Juice brand to Harvest Hill Beverage Company, a portfolio company of Brynwood Partners.[3][4]

Manufacture

Until the sale by Nestlé, Juicy Juice was manufactured in Ocean Spray production facilities, as a result of a 2002 joint agreement between Nestlé and Ocean Spray.[5]
