Kalna College, established in 1943,[1] a college in Kalna, Purba Bardhaman district. It offers undergraduate courses in arts, commerce and sciences. It is affiliated to University of Burdwan.[2]

History

Kalna College was established in the year of 1943. The College is situated one kilometre away from its nearest railway station Ambika Kalna. The Holy Ganga is also one kilometre away towards north from this college. Since 1943 the college has been catering higher education to the people of Kalna and around Kalna.

Recently, Kalna College has been re-accredited and awarded B++ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).[3] The college is also recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).[1]
