Kambadur (Telugu: కంబదూరు) is a village and a mandal in Anantapur district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India.[1]
Etymology
The name Kambadur is derived from a monolithic stone carving in the shape of a lotus (kamala)[citation needed] which adorns the ceiling of the main Malleshwaraswami temple in the outskirts of the village.[citation needed]
