Kolathur Assembly constituency

Kolathur, is a state assembly constituency in Tamil Nadu. Not to be confused with Kolathur(SC). Kolathur constituency was carved out of former Purasawalkam and Villivakkam assembly segments after the Delimitation of Constituencies, 2008. It is currently a part of Chennai North (Lok Sabha constituency).

Kolathur Constituency is composed of:

4. Srinivasa Nagar
5. Ayanavaram
6. Periyar Nagar
7. Poombugar Nagar
8. Jawagar Nagar
9. Sembiyam

Kolathur Constituency went to the assembly polls for the first time in the year 2011
