Krakovets (Ukrainian: Краковець, Polish: Krakowiec, Russian: Краковец) is an urban-type settlement in Yavoriv Raion, Lviv Oblast in western Ukraine. Population: 1,121 (2013 est.)[1].

It is the birthplace of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army general Roman Shukhevych.

Border crossing

A border crossing into Poland is located in Krakovets known as Krakivets. The town across the border in Poland is Korczowa.
