Kuala Kubu Baharu is a state constituency in Selangor, Malaysia, that has been represented in the Selangor State Legislative Assembly since 1974.
The state constituency was created in the 1974 redistribution and is mandated to return a single member to the Selangor State Legislative Assembly under the first past the post voting system. Since 2013[update], the State Assemblyman for Kuala Kubu Baharu is Lee Kee Hiong from the Democratic Action Party (DAP), which is part of the state's ruling coalition, Pakatan Harapan (PH).[2]
History
2004–2016: The constituency contains the polling districts of Kampung Baharu Kerling, Pertak, Ampang Pechah, Kampung Baharu Cina K.K.B, Bandar Kuala Kubu Baharu, Kampung Air Jernih, Kerling, Lembah Beringin, Ladang Nigel Gardner, Jalan Kuala Kali, Kampung Baharu Rasa, Pekan Rasa, Kampung Baharu Batang Kali, Hulu Yam Lama.
2016–present:[3] The constituency contains the polling districts of Kampung Baharu Kerling, Pertak, Ampang Pechah, Kampung Baharu China K.K.B, Bandar Kuala Kubu Baharu, Kampung Air Jernih, Kerling, Lembah Beringin, Ladang Nigel Gardner, Jalan Kuala Kali, Kampung Baharu Rasa, Pekan Rasa, Kampung Baharu Batang Kali, Hulu Yam Lama, Bandar Utama Batang Kali, Batu 30 Hulu Yam.
