Kubau is a Local Government Area in Kaduna State, Nigeria. Its headquarters are in the town of Anchau, and it has some rural villages like; Dutsen-wai, Damau, Dan-Hauya, Kayarda, Mai-Yashi e.t.c.

It has an area of 2,505 km² and a population of 282,045 at the 2006 census.

The postal code of the area is 811.[1]
