Kyzir White (born March 24, 1996) is an American football linebacker for the Los Angeles Chargers. He played college football as a safety for the West Virginia Mountaineers. White was drafted with the 19th pick in the fourth round of the 2018 NFL Draft by the Chargers.[1]

High school career

White played high school football at Emmaus High School in Pennsylvania's highly-competitive East Penn Conference.[2]

College career

Following two years at Lackawanna College, White committed to the West Virginia. In addition to West Virginia, White also received offers from Pittsburgh, Arizona State, Louisville and Illinois.[3] In his career at West Virginia, he recorded 152 total tackles, four sacks, three interceptions, nine passes defended, and four forced fumbles.[4]

Professional career

White was drafted by the Los Angeles Chargers in the fourth round (119th overall) of the 2018 NFL Draft.[5] In the Week 2 victory over the Buffalo Bills, White recorded his first professional interception.[6]

Personal life

White has 2 brothers, Kevin White and Ka'Raun White, who also spent time at Lackawanna before transferring to West Virginia.[3] Kevin currently plays in the NFL for the Chicago Bears.
