The Lamoille River Route 15-A Bridge is a modern steel-and-concrete structure, built in 2013 to carry Vermont Route 15A over the Lamoille River east of Morrisville, Vermont. It was built to replace a metal truss bridge erected there in 1928. The old bridge, of Pratt through truss design, was built by the Berlin Steel Company as part of a major effort by the state to build bridges after extensive flooding in 1927.[2] It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.[1] The old bridge was closed and disassembled in 2007, and replaced by a temporary span.[3]
