Lauren Anne Young (born November 8, 1993) is an actress, of dual American and Filipino citizenship. She is the younger sister of actress and TV host Megan Young. In 2012, she transferred to GMA Network and changed her manager; she chose Pia Magalona, the wife of the late Francis Magalona.

Biography

Lauren Young was one of the 20 new talents introduced, as Star Magic Batch 13 by ABS-CBN's talent management agency Star Magic in 2006. Her first TV appearance was a cameo in the Komiks episode Bampy—a Star Magic 14th Anniversary special. She then played Lea opposite Piolo Pascual in Star Magic Presents: All About A Girl. Young was one of the 19 new comers introduced in the second season Star Magic Presents TV series, Abt Ur Luv.[1]

In 2007, she starred as Bernice, John Lloyd Cruz's younger sister in the box - office movie One More Chance.

In 2008, she played the Antagonist and possessive Paige in Your Song Presents: Impossible.[2]

Srrrereposite AJ Perez in Your Song Presents: Underage.[3]

In 2010, she played as Lorraine in the movie Sa 'Yo Lamang opposite Enchong Dee.

She also acted as Sunny-Rose Buenaventura, the younger sister of Rodjun Cruz in Juanita Banana.

She was chosen to play Via Pereira, originally played by Claudine Barretto, in ABS-CBN's 2011 remake of Mula Sa Puso.[4]

She transferred to GMA Network last year.
