The following is an episode list for the TLC series, LA Ink. The series premiered on August 7, 2007 and is a spinoff of Miami Ink which focuses on tattoo artist Kat Von D returning to Los Angeles after leaving Miami Ink to pursue her dream of opening up her own tattoo shop. In Season 3, there was a shift of focus away from LA Ink's main shop, High Voltage Tattoo, to feature a rival shop American Electric Tattoo (owned by Craig Jackman). After Amy Nicoletto and Paulie Tattoo left High Voltage Tattoo, they were quickly hired by American Electric which gave viewers and fans new personalities, dynamics and drama to follow. Corey Miller soon joined American Electric Tattoo in Season 4 along with newcomer Ruthless. The show returned on July 28 for the second half of Season 4 but TLC announced that Season 4 would be its last and that the show would be cancelled.

Kat's nailed down her dream team, but the shop's not ready when Hannah and Kim arrive to work in LA. Hannah's worried Kim might drop out. Fortunately, Corey agrees to let the entire crew work out of his shop until LA Ink opens.

LA Ink is open for business and Kat Von D and her crew celebrate with a huge rock n roll bash. It's been a struggle getting her dream shop off the ground but it's done and now the whole city will see if Kat has what it takes to run her own business. Rapper Eve is the first client of the shop.

While bathing suit shopping with Pixie, Kat learns her recent weight loss has changed more than her waistline. Pixie gives Kat the hard sell on breast implants. But before Kat goes under the knife, she does a test run on the girls at the shop.

Kat's overworked and tired, so Kim suggests that they both do a cleanse. Kat raises the stakes by making a bet to see who can last longer. The loser will get tattooed by Steve-O. Nashville's Emerson Drive stops by the shop to celebrate their first #1 song.

Corey contemplates getting a vasectomy, but it's a tougher decision then he thought it would be. Kat surprises Pixie by getting a portrait tattoo of her to show her how much she loves her. In the shop, Hannah tattoos a fighting fish on Raye.

Kat and the team learn the true meaning of sisterhood when Pixie falls sick but can't afford the surgery she desperately needs. Corey turns to occult art to find inspiration and tattoos a creepy portrait for his friend.

Kat invites her father to visit the shop and nothing goes down as planned. When she's five hours late to work, things get chaotic. Her rock star client Frank Iero of the band My Chemical Romance looks for ways to pass the time.

Kim's single and ready to mingle. The crew is determined to find her a good man and she finally takes a gamble on love at Drag Queen Bingo. Chris combines his two passions in life in a rockabilly style pin up.

Kat's business is booming but her personal life has been suffering as a result. Kat has managed to meet a guy who she vibes with but has some doubts about jumping into a relationship so quickly after her recent divorce.

Hannah's daughter Holly comes to check out L.A., but Hannah is stuck working at the shop. While she tries to break free, Rita Haney tells Kat the tragic story of the death of her soul mate of Pantera's guitarist Dimebag Darrell.

Pixie is going through relationship issues so the girls rally around her to help her cope. Bonnie pays tribute to her music with a piece from Corey and in the process helps bring a smile to Pixie's face. Sebastian Bach shows he's still rock-n-roll.

Hannah is forced to decide between her life in LA and the life she left behind in Chicago. Kat wants to take a vacation and meet Orbi on tour, but she has to figure out a way to leave and still take care of business.

Kat faces a crisis when she returns from her trip with Orbi to find that Hannah's still in Chicago and in no rush to return to LA while Pixie took off for a week without asking. Kat has to decide which comes first, her business or her friendship.

Tension's building in the shop as Kat struggles to be a boss without damaging her friendship with Pixie. But later hits her boiling point after Pixie asks for time off to moonlight. Corey helps Brandon advertise with a neck tattoo.

To help Kat tame her wild ways she impulsively moves in with her boyfriend Orbi. Meanwhile in the shop, Hannah tattoos a mermaid for Rebecca to help her confront her horrors of surviving the tsunami that almost took her life.

The crew looks to make a fresh start. Pixie undergoes laser tattoo removal to make room for a very important tattoo. Kat hires her sister to be her personal assistant and plans a surprise with the help of comedian Tom Green.

Kat and Orbi move closer in their relationship when she tattoos a classic portrait of his father, rock n roll legend Roy Orbison. Pixie and Kim discover the ups and downs of being single in Los Angeles when they give speed dating a try and come up short.

Kat builds a full sized skate ramp inside the shop but Hannah, whose station will be right next to the ramp, thinks it's a terrible idea with dangerous repercussions. With construction going on at the shop, Corey and Kim work out of Corey's shop.

Kat decides she wants to set a world record for doing 400 tattoos within 24 hours, but with less than a week to plan the event she might be attempting the impossible.

After some intense pains, Kat consults a doctor. But her pain worsens and a second opinion leads to a troubling discovery. Kat is immediately rushed into surgery and the shop is forced to carry on without her.

Kat's back to work after a health scare but she's overwhelmed with the progress of MusInk. She's missed deadlines and her headlining band cancelled. She turns to Corey for help, but he struggles with lending a hand and remaining a family man.

When the artists get fed up with Pixie's bad work habits, the fireworks fly forcing Kat to make a tough decision about Pixie's future as shop manager. As things quickly spiral out of control, Kat tries her best to keep the arguing away from the clients. American Idol's Blake Lewis appears.

Kat and the crew try to pick up the pieces after Pixie's big blowup at the shop. Kat and Pixie's friendship is tested, and the artists adjust to new dynamics as Kat is forced to find someone to fill in. And Hannah tries to make amends with Pixie.

Kat's boyfriend Orbi meets with her Dad in secret to confess his true feelings and talk about the future of his and Kat's relationship. Hannah's brother and fellow tattoo artist Guy Aitchison stops by to do an elaborate collaboration with her.

Kat's relationship with Orbi is on the rocks while focusing on work and MusInk, her tattoo and music convention. Corey and Hannah work on Jay's tribute to his mom while Kim bonds with Vickie. Hannah gives Tim, a metal-jamming Jesus. MusInk finally opens.

Kat Von D and her tattoo crew get to rock it out at Crüe Fest and gets a surprise visit from her guy, Mötley Crüe musician Nikki Sixx, who wants a portrait of his friend and fellow band member Mick Mars.

Kat scores the cover of Latina magazine! where she takes the magazine's reporter along with her brother and sister to her hometown for a trip down Von D memory lane. Phenomenal booty model, Elke the Stallion asks Corey for a special set of wings.

Corey loves the environment at LA Ink, but his long commute every day is keeping him from his kids. Kat tattoos rapper The Game, who's thinking about quitting music to be a family man. Kat gives Jason a portrait of his baby daughter who recently passed.

When Kat and her fellow smokers in the shop decide to kick the habit, they seek the help of a hypnotist. Singer Yolanda Perez shares her struggle with being a single mom. Kat brings a photo of Don's wife to life.

Kim seizes the opportunity of a lifetime when she's approached by a shoe manufacturer to provide artwork for their new line. Corey and Hannah discover the need for speed when they hook up with the nation's top female rally car driver.

Kat's up against a tight deadline on her latest project-a book about her art and she's still got some important things to get done. Matt Bradley of Discovery's Deadliest Catch steps off his fishing boat and into the shop.

Naheed crosses a line when Kat gives her a heavy metal momma on a black horse with razor teeth on her forearm. Dan, a world-famous architect isn't too sure he wants a tattoo and then isn't certain Hannah's up to doing his very complicated artwork! Brian "Head" Welch (formerly of Korn) is also featured in this episode.

Kat signs up for a big project outside the tattoo shop - redecorating her musician boyfriend Nikki Sixx's recording studio, Funny Farm. Kim gives soap actor Kristoff St. John a philosophical to remind him what makes him strong.

Kat tattoos rock legend Lemmy Kilmister from Motörhead. Hannah spends some quality time with her daughter and tries to sort out the past. When Kat's little brother joins the crew, she plans a killer party to welcome him back to LA.

Nikki's work with Covenant House inspires Kat to get involved, but she stresses out when planning a benefit goes down to the wire. Olympic soccer star Natasha Kai stops by the shop to show off the gold. Corey dedicates a tattoo to his son.
39 13 "First Anniversary" January 22, 2009 (2009-01-22)
Kat puts Naheed in charge of throwing a party for the whole crew to celebrate the 1 year anniversary of the shop. Kim asks Hannah to tattoo her for the first time. Nick Wheeler from the band the All-American Rejects stops by for a portrait of his puppy dog.

Kat bares it all at a New York photo shoot to promote her new cosmetic line rendering her tattoo-less. Kat convinces her good friend, Nikko, to guest spot for a couple days and he wows everyone with a gory portrait.

Aubry's on thin ice with the shop when she tries to win the team over with her crazy antics. She finally crosses the line when she tries to redecorate Kat's station and her future as shop manager is in jeopardy.

Aubry's efforts to fit in have been causing tension in the shop, so Kat calls on everyone to make her feel welcome. In her own attempt to reach out, Kat sets Aubry up on a blind date with a good friend, where Aubry drops the "I want a baby" bomb.

Kat begins a second book based on her private tattoo journals work that triggers deep emotional reactions. Aubry ponders getting a tattoo. Paulie worries about not getting any clients and his feelings hit the boiling point.

When Kat learns Aubry's getting a tattoo she's concerned that Aubry isn't doing it for the right reasons. Aubry was planning to get a tattoo anyway but she's also hoping that getting one at the shop will have the added bonus of earning her some respect.

Kat's been clean and sober for two years and the shop wants to mark the occasion with a special surprise. Kat celebrates her own way by tattooing her sister Karoline. In the meantime, Aubry is planning to hit the stage and perform stand up comedy.

Pushed to the limit, Corey finally unleashes his pent up anger at Aubry when she does the unthinkable with one of his clients. Now at the breaking point, he questions his role at High Voltage and backs Kat into a corner by forcing her to make a critical decision.

Kat puts an end to the back stabbing between Adrienne and Liz before it gets out of hand. Meanwhile, Corey's stress begins to surface in the shop. At American Electric, Craig puts Paulie's color skills to the test and Aubry hopes a spiritual tattoo will heal her past.

Despite Kat's relentless attempts, the battle between Adrienne and Liz for power continues. Corey reprimands Kat for involving him in the drama. Aubry infuriates Craig with her plans for a makeup studio at American Electric.

Kat pushes her art to a new level when she tattoos prosthetic limbs for amputees Rob and Scott and lays down the law with harsh words for Corey and the team about shop policy. Paulie's client invites him to work on a music video with rap star Snoop Dogg.

Kat is overwhelmed with the mounting tension between her and Corey and the entire shop is feeling the pressure. The lack of support at Corey's band performance leaves him wondering who his real friends are. Paulie infuriates Aubry when his meeting with Corey is revealed.

Kat puts her photography skills to good use in support of a Battered Woman's benefit. Without Kat's authority Liz gives Corey time off and gets caught in a lie. Aubry quits American Electric to follow her true passions.

Kat discovers Liz lied and Liz pays the ultimate consequence. Kat is heart broken by Corey's painful decision and their friendship is put to the ultimate test.

After hearing what the crew has to say, Kat decides to bring Corey back, but he may have changed his mind. The tension between Amy and Ruthless explodes and Paulie can't believe his eyes when an unexplained visitor comes walking through the door.

Kat gets caught in the middle of a prank war when her roommate Rooftop starts trouble with her boyfriend Nikki Sixx. Corey cuts all ties when he crosses enemy lines and decides to join the team at American Electric.

Kat heads to New York to meet with Sephora about her new perfume line and then to Harper Collins Publishers where she has to give her editor some bad news about her second book. Corey reveals the ugly truth in a magazine interview.

Kat wakes up to find that a spider has bitten her eye and the possibility of surgery scares her just as much as not being able to tattoo. Corey calms the tension at American Electric when he agrees to tattoo Amy and Paulie.

Kat convinces Michael to run a marathon but after he drops out, she finds other ways to spend time with him. American Electric celebrates its 11th anniversary and Paulie's refusal to participate angers Craig just as much as Amy's surprise guest.

Kat auctions off a tattoo for charity. Nikki Sixx interviews Dan on his radio show and the crew goes to see Dan's band at The House of Blues. Corey walks in to find Aubry getting tattooed. Amy finds herself between a rock and a hard place.

After noticing that her crew is acting strange, Kat starts digging for information only to find that she may have ruined a great surprise. At American Electric, Ruthless realizes that Amy is covering for Paulie and threatens to tell Craig.

While Kat struggles with the decision to go on tour with Nikki and the future of their relationship, she puts Michael and Rooftop in charge of the event space next door. The tension between Amy and Ruthless reaches a boiling point over a tattoo convention.

As final prep is underway for the opening of Kat's gallery, tensions boil over at American Electric between Amy and Ruthless. Wonderland opens its doors. Kat and her new boyfriend show up to a full press line and a party full of surprises.
