Appearance
Superstore is an American comedy television series created by Justin Spitzer, which premiered on NBC on November 30, 2015.[1] The series stars America Ferrera, Ben Feldman, Lauren Ash, Colton Dunn, Nico Santos, Nichole Bloom and Mark McKinney as a group of employees working at a fictional big-box store called "Cloud 9" set in St. Louis, Missouri. On February 21, 2018, NBC renewed the series for a 22-episode fourth season, which premiered on October 4, 2018.[2][3]
As of October 11, 2018,[update] 113 episodes of Superstore have aired, including one special.

Set in the middle of Season 1, Cloud 9 celebrates the Summer Olympic Games with an Olympic themed promotion. After Glenn organizes the store's Opening Ceremony, with disastrous results, Dina suggests that she be the one to come up with an over-the-top Closing Ceremony. Meanwhile, Glenn struggles with what the games are truly about, and Jonah discovers a secret about Mateo. Also, Amy learns that her childhood Olympic hero Missy Jones (guest star Cecily Strong) is stopping by Cloud 9 to promote her new book, and Cheyenne gets down on herself for not being as successful as Missy was at her age. Tara Lipinski, Apolo Ohno, and McKayla Maroney also make cameo appearances. |
