Not every Asian looks "Vietnamese" or is "Vietnamese". There is no mention of say, South Asians like Indians whatsoever in the source.

  • curprev 07:4207:42, 17 April 2023 Clear Looking Glass talk contribs 294,045 bytes −111 Kuronbo is a Japanese-specific term. I don't know what the South African census has to do with this.
  • curprev 07:4007:40, 17 April 2023 Clear Looking Glass talk contribs 294,156 bytes −13 Nvm, the Chinese ethnic slur was a different one, but the Korea Times merely states that it means "black brother", no further context other than its use as an insult.
  • curprev 07:3807:38, 17 April 2023 Clear Looking Glass talk contribs 294,169 bytes −257 Per Korea Times, Heukhyeong is a slur for Chinese people. Quote: ""Heukhyeong," which means "black brother" in Korean, and "jjangkkae," a demeaning term some Koreans use to refer to Chinese people". RM what seems to be original research.
  • curprev 07:3607:36, 17 April 2023 Clear Looking Glass talk contribs 294,426 bytes −3,518 RM and reword. Last month in March, a user added South African ethnic terms to many U.S and non-South African specific terms, citing a Discover Magazine source on the ancestry of Cape Coloured people. Magazine makes zero mention of these non-South African related ethnic slurs. If many listed slurs can generically denote "white" people, then "black" people alone can work fine and is what many sources merely state.
  • curprev 07:1707:17, 17 April 2023 Clear Looking Glass talk contribs 297,944 bytes −69 The "Cape Coloureds Are a Mix of Everything" does not address the "oreo" slur, which seems to be unique to the U.S.
  • curprev 07:1207:12, 17 April 2023 Clear Looking Glass talk contribs 298,013 bytes −99 This term seems to be specific to countries like the United States, so I don't know why a slew of South African-related terms are lumped here. Sources and linked page even note it's context in America/African-Americans. If many pages can generically denote slurs of "white" people, then "black" people alone can work fine.

This is just two of several references I found that consider it a slur. If you wish to discuss further please do so on he talk page.
