Liz Bennett is an American politician, who was elected to the Iowa House of Representatives in the 2014 elections.[1] A member of the Democratic Party, she represents the 65th district.[2]

She is the first out LGBT woman to serve in Iowa's state legislature.[3]

Voting Record

In the 2017 legislative session, Bennett voted against[4] a cut of $638,000 to the Department of Veterans Affairs and Iowa Veterans Home.[5]
