Lorna Katie Fitzgerald (born 8 March 1996) is a British child actress from Northampton. She lives in Hunsbury. She is regarded highly by the public and also everyone who knows her. This is because she is cute, fun, adorable, talented and a very nice girl.

Personal life

Lorna Fitzgerald started attending Stage Coach Drama Classes at the age of four.[1] She has two older sisters, Corinne (18) and Abigail (32). She is a keen dancer and enjoys ballet and tap.[2] She also plays the guitar and keeps active by swimming.[2][3] Her best friend on set is Madeline Duggan who plays her onscreen sister Lauren Branning.

Career

She appeared in the Casualty episode 'Animals',[2][3][4] and a short film called Big Girl, Little Girl.[1][5] She also appeared in the ITV drama The Golden Hour,[3] as well as playing Sarah Lancashire's daughter Jade Cannings in Cherished,[2][3][6] and Young Bex in According to Bex.[7] She has also been in adverts for Childline and Nescafe.

Some time after attending acting classes, Fitzgerald joined the Stagecoach Theatre Arts School in Stony Stratford, and Derngate Theatre School.[1] Through her agent, she heard about the role in BBC One soap opera EastEnders, and went to the BBC Studios in London for the first of three auditions.[1] She was cast as Abi Branning, making her first appearance in 2006.[2][3][8][8]

Lorna Fitzgerald has also been in a variety of plays, musicals and other TV programmes.
