Education

Lowmead State School is a government co-educational primary (P-7) school located at 3077-3083 Lowmead. Road. In 2013, the school had 13 students in a single multi-age class with 2 teachers (1 full-time equivalent), but enrolment numbers may have been impacted by flooding.[6] In January and March 2013, the school was flooded, causing students to miss a number of weeks of school at the start of the school year.[7]
