The MHT-CET or Common Entrance Test is an annual entrance exam conducted by the Government of Maharashtra.[1] It is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education. The degree courses of the following streams are mainly accounted for in this entrance exam:

  • Engineering
  • Pharmacy

Earlier the test scores were also used for admissions to Medical degree courses. The test is conducted in offline mode. After the Supreme Court of India hammered the deduction for NEET for Medical colleges; MHT-CET is scrapped for medical colleges.

This year (2018), MHT-CET was conducted on 10th of May, 2018.
