The Maj. Gen. John Sedgwick House is a historic house at 52 Hautboy Hill Road in Cornwall, Connecticut. It is a two story wood frame structure, five bays wide, with a center entry and twin chimneys. Built in 1859-60, the house has Italianate features applied to a more traditional Federal period structure, including a heavy bracketed front portico. It was the home Union Army General John Sedgwick, and was probably built on the foundation of an older house which was destroyed by lightning-induced fire.[2]

The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.[1]
