The mangrove whistler (Pachycephala cinerea) is a species of bird in the Pachycephalidae family. It is found in Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Two subspecies are recognized:[1]
- P. c. cinerea – (Blyth, 1847): found from northeastern India to Indochina and the Greater Sundas
- P. c. plateni – (Blasius, W, 1888): found in Palawan (Philippines)
