Inset map

[edit]

 Done

Provincial location maps in Canada often have inset maps to show the location of the province within Canada; for example, {{Location map Canada Ontario}}. Would it make sense here to include an inset showing how southern Ontario fits within Ontario, or maybe Canada? Is there enough grey space in the corners to include such an inset map? I haven't convinced myself an inset is needed, but thought I would throw it out there; I do think there would be enough space to include it. --papageno (talk) 16:28, 19 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This isn't a province, but I see that the similar sized region of Newfoundland has an inset map. I'll see what it looks like. 117Avenue (talk) 04:11, 20 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I think it works. 117Avenue (talk) 05:48, 20 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, that looks more than fine. Perhaps we can wait a few days before adding it into the template. --papageno (talk) 17:02, 20 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, I see you already updated to the new image in the template file; I have just updated the documentation. This item is closed. --papageno (talk) 14:56, 27 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
