The National Rural Support Programme (NRSP) is an integrated rural development organization registered under company's ordinance 1984 with corporate law authority Islamabad. Its main objective is to improve quality of life of rural people through harnessing their potential to implement various development programmes by themselves. NRSP works through four sectors; the Microfinance, Human Recourse Development, Physical Infrastructure & Technology Development and Social Sector Services.

The mission of NRSP Microfinance Bank is to reduce the effects of poverty by giving timely access to commercially viable financial products and services to the poor masses of Pakistan. The NRSP Microfinance Bank headquarters is in South Punjab city of Bahawalpur.
