New Washington is a 4th class municipality in the province of Aklan, Philippines. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 33,981 people in 6,715 households. New Washington is the birth place of Cardinal Jaime Sin, previous Archbishop of Manila. New Washington is also known for a place called Sampaguita Garden.
