"No Promises" is the first single released by Australian band, Icehouse from the band's 1986 album, Measure for Measure and was released in November 1985 on Regular Records as 7" Vinyl Single and 12" Vinyl Single formats. It was also released in the UK and Europe by Chrysalis Records again on 7" and 12" formats but with different track listings. It was subsequently released in the US by Chrysalis on 7" and 12" formats, again with different track listings. It peaked at #30 on the Australian singles charts.[1] A remix version by [love] tatto was released on the Icehouse album Meltdown in 2002.[2] Dieter Trattmann directed the second version of the video.
