Now Apocalypse is an upcoming American comedy television series that is set to premiere on March 10, 2019, on Starz. The series is set to be written by Gregg Araki and Karley Sciortino. Araki is also expected to act as director and executive produce alongside Steven Soderbergh and Gregory Jacobs.

Premise

Now Apocalypse follows "Ulysses and his friends Carly, Ford and Severine, who are on various quests pursuing love, sex and fame. Now Apocalypse explores identity, sexuality and artistry, while navigating the strange and oftentimes bewildering city of Los Angeles. Between sexual and romantic dating app adventures, Ulysses grows increasingly troubled as foreboding premonitory dreams make him wonder – is some kind of dark and monstrous conspiracy going on, or is he just smoking too much weed?"[1]

On March 26, 2018, it was announced that Starz had given the production a series order for a first season consisting of ten episodes. The series is written by Gregg Araki and Karley Sciortino. Araki is also expected to act as director and executive produce alongside Steven Soderbergh, and Gregory Jacobs.[1][2][3][4][5][6] On December 10, 2018, it was announced that the series would premiere on March 10, 2019.[7]

Casting

In June 2018, it was announced that Avan Jogia, Kelli Berglund, Beau Mirchoff, and Roxane Mesquida had joined the main cast and that Evan Hart, Taylor Hart, Tyler Posey, Jacob Artist, Chris Aquilino, Desmond Chiam, RJ Mitte, and Grace Victoria Cox had been cast in recurring roles.[8][9][10][11][12][13][14] On July 2, 2018, it was reported that Kevin Daniels and Avra Friedman had joined the cast in a recurring capacity.[15]
