Olmo al Brembo is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region of Lombardy, located about 70 kilometres (43 mi) northeast of Milan and about 45 kilometres (28 mi) north of Bergamo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 522 and an area of 7.8 square kilometres (3.0 sq mi).[3]
Olmo al Brembo borders the following municipalities: Averara, Cassiglio, Mezzoldo, Piazza Brembana, Piazzatorre, Piazzolo, Santa Brigida. Olmo al Brembo is an ancient village built along Strada Priula. About 15 kilometres (9 mi) from there is San Marco Pass, which links Valle Brembana and Valtellina
