Orchard Park High School and Sixth Form, formally Edenham High School, is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form, located in the Shirley area of the London Borough of Croydon, England. The school is an academy with the Greenshaw Learning Trust[1] which is a family of schools that have the same values, vision for education and learning, as encapsulated in the Trust’s mission statement: “We are ambitious for our schools and their students. We believe that there is no ceiling on what can be achieved by anyone, regardless of their circumstances or background.”
In 2011 the school was given an Ofsted report of good[2].
Orchard Park High School offers GCSEs and equivalent vocational courses as programmes of study for pupils, while Orchard Park sixth form students can choose to study from range of A Levels and further vocational courses.
History
Originally opening with the name Edenham High School, named from Eden Park and Ham Farm in the local area, the school stayed a foundation school administered by Croydon London Borough Council until 2015 when the Greenshaw Learning Trust converted the school into an academy status. Edenham was the last secondary school in the borough to become an academy[3].
