Other Dances is a ballet made by New York City Ballet balletmaster Jerome Robbins on Natalia Makarova and Mikhail Baryshnikov to the music of Chopin:

Robbins originally made six variations on Makarova and Baryshnikov but used only four in performance; the other two are preserved on a rehearsal tape.[1] The premiere took place on Sunday, May 9, 1976, at the Metropolitan Opera House, Lincoln Center, as part of a gala for the Performing Arts division of the New York Public Library. The costumes were by Santo Loquasto and lighting by Ronald Bates; the New York City Ballet premiere Friday, November 26, 1976, at New York State Theater (also at Lincoln Center). Other Dances is the fourth ballet Robbins made to Chopin's music; the previous ballets were: The Concert, 1956; Dances at a Gathering, 1969; and In the Night, 1970.
