Pallickal is a village near the town of Kottarakara in the Indian state of Kerala. It is known for its lush paddy fields and tall coconut trees. There are two temples in this village. One is the devi temple and other one is the mahadeva temple. A small kavu dedicated to lord Shiva is also a part of this sleepy little village.

The majority of the people here are farmers and are descendants of the warrior class Chekaver (Ezhavas)and another hindu community knows as Nairs .
