Piedra is a census-designated place (CDP) in Hinsdale County, Colorado, United States. The population as of the 2010 Census was 28.[1]

A post office called Piedra was established in 1879, and remained in operation until 1927.[2] Piedra is a name derived from Spanish meaning "stones".[3]
