Politics of Uttar Pradesh is dominated by the regional parties Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and Samajwadi Party (SP) with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Indian National Congress are other parties. The current government in Uttar Pradesh is that of SP. The Chief Minister is Mr. Akhilesh Yadav.
