Polygamy is prohibited by law in Guinea (with certain exceptions, however).[1]

Prevalence of polygamy

UNICEF reports that 53.4% of Guinean women aged 15–49 are in polygamous marriages.[2] 29.8% of girls aged between 15 and 19 are in polygamous marriages.[3]
