Ponnunjal (English: The Golden Oonjal) is a 1973 Indian Tamil film, directed by C. V. Rajendran and produced by K. S. Kutralingam. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan, Ushanandini, R. Muthuraman and V. Gopalakrishnan in lead roles. The film had musical score by M. S. Viswanathan.[1][2][3]

Soundtrack
The music composed by M. S. Viswanathan, while lyrics written by Kannadasan, Selvabharathy and 'Nellai' Arulmani. The songs of the film, especially the song "Agayap pandhalile" an all-time classic, became popular even before the film hit the screens.
