Raipur (Template:Lang-pa) is a village in the Kabirwala Tehsil of Khanewal District in Western Punjab (Pakistan). Until 2000, it was located in the Multan Division. It is famous as Nobel Laureate Har Gobind Khorana (1922) was born here.[1]

Geography

The village is situated at 30°51′11″N 73°21′01″E / 30.85306°N 73.35028°E / 30.85306; 73.35028, in the Khanewal District in the Pakistani Punjab, having the average elevation of 161 metres (528 ft).[2] [3]
