Background

Cogan-Shinder’s initial success came from marketing ventures, in 2002 she launched CLEAN Perfume, a brand that focused on fresh, simple scents.[4][5][6] Her core aim is to create products that address white spaces in the beauty space.[7]
Dessert Beauty
She partnered with Jessica Simpson to create Dessert Beauty, a beauty brand based on scent and flavor.[2][3][8]
Fusion Beauty
She then launched LipFusion, the first-ever lip plumper.[9][10] This led to the creation of Fusion Beauty, which expanded into a range of beauty products and became the first brand to exceed $50 million in sales at Sephora in the USA.[11] Following this, she launched I Smell Great with actress and activist Sophia Bush.[12][1]
SBLA Beauty
She founded SBLA Beauty in 2018, serving as both CEO and President, launching the Neck, Chin & Jawline Sculpting Wand and partnered with supermodel Christie Brinkley as a brand ambassador in 2021.[1][13][14]
