Rhombonotus is a genus of jumping spiders known from Queensland, Australia. There is currently only one recognized species, R. gracilis.[1] R. similis from Sumatra was transferred to genus Ligonipes.[2] The genus name is derived from Ancient Greek ρομβος "rhombus" and notos "back". The species name is from Latin gracilis "slender".
