Richards is an unincorporated community in Grimes County, Texas, United States located on Farm roads 1486 and 149 and the Burlington-Rock Island line in east central Grimes County.

Education

The Richards Independent School District and Montgomery Independent School District serve area students.

Climate

The climate in this area is characterized by hot, humid summers and generally mild to cool winters. According to the Köppen Climate Classification system, Richards has a humid subtropical climate, abbreviated "Cfa" on climate maps.[1]
