Rita Gertrudis Bosaho Gori (born 21 May 1965) is an Equatorial Guinean-Spanish politician and activist who was elected to the Spanish Congress of Deputies at the 2015 Spanish election[1] representing Alicante province.[2] She is a member of Podemos. Bosaho moved to Spain at the age of 4, living with military foster families in Cadiz and Cartagena before moving to Alicante.[3]

Bosaho is the niece of Enrique Gori Molubela, who was a deputy in the Cortes Españolas, representing the then Spanish colony of Fernando Po.[4] She holds a degree in history from the University of Alicante.[5] She worked as a nurse for 23 years in Alicante's general hospital.[6] Shehas also developed activist work in the field of human rights, focusing, in particular, on reducing violence against women. Before being elected to the national parliament, she stood for Podemos in the Valencian regional elections in May 2015.[3] In November 2015, she was selected as the lead candidate on the Podemos list for Alicante, a decision which was disputed by opponents in the local branch.[5] After winning a seat in the December 2015 election, she was Spain's first-ever black member of the Congress.[6]
