Robert Stanley Dyrdek (born June 28, 1974) is an American professional skateboarder, actor, entrepreneur, and former star of his own reality TV series entitled Rob & Big with the personal bodyguard and best friend Christopher "Big Black" Boykin. A new television show titled Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory, featuring Dyrdek and his cousin, Chris "Drama" Pfaff, began in February 2009. It follows Dyrdek purchasing a warehouse in order to perform extreme sports stunts and pursuing other business ventures. In the show, he builds a zipline in his warehouse, puts a blob in the factory that goes into the foam pit, and skateboards.
Dyrdek broke 21 separate Guinness World Records for skateboarding as part of his show Rob & Big. His friend Boykin also broke two eating records for the show.[1]
His parents are Patty and Gene Dyrdek. He has one sister, named Denise. He also has two dogs named Meaty and Beefy. Sponsors: DC Shoes, Alien Workshop, Silver trucks, Spy+ optics, Monster Beverage. Dyrdek made his own brand, Rogue Status with Blink-182 drummer, Travis Barker.
