The Rural Municipality of McKillop No. 220, Saskatchewan was originally called Strassburg and is now named McKillop No. 220 as of July 15, 1919. Strassburg R.M. No. 220 was originally formed December 13, 1909.

As of the census in 2001, there were 517 people living in the RM of McKillop No. 220, Saskatchewan
