Sōma Station (相馬駅, Sōma-eki) is a railway station operated by East Japan Railway Company in the city of Sōma, Fukushima, Japan.

Lines

Sōma Station is served by the Jōban Line, and is located 307.0 km from the official starting point of the line at Nippori in Tokyo. However, due to damage to the line caused by the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami, trains from Nittaki are able to travel only as far as Namie Station. Full services are not expected to resume until after 2020.[1]

Station layout

Sōma Station has two opposed side platforms connected to the station building by a footbridge. However, at present platform 2 is not in use. The station has a Midori no Madoguchi staffed ticket office.
