The Samsung Galaxy A13 is an Android smartphone manufactured by Samsung Electronics.[3][4] 4G LTE model was announced on 4 March 2022[5] and 5G model was announced on 2 December 2021. The phone has a quad-camera setup with a 50 MP main camera, a 6.6 in (175mm) HD+ Infinity-V display, and a 5000 mAh Li-Po battery. It ships with Android 12.

The Galaxy A13 is a smartphone with a slate-type factor form, the size of which is 165.1 × 76.4 × 8.8 mm and weighs 195 grams. The side frames and the back are made of plastic.[2]

The device is equipped with GSM, HSPA and LTE connectivity and Wi-Fi 802.A/b/g/n/ac with Bluetooth 5 Wi-Fi Direct support and hotspot.0 with A2DP and LE, GPS with A-GPS, BDS, GALILEO and GLONASS and NFC (only in some markets). It has a USB-C2 port.0 and an input for 3.5 mm audio jack.

It has a 6.6 inch diagonal touchscreen, TFT LCD Infinity-V display with a ratio of 20:9, rounded corners and FHD+ resolution of 1080 × 2408 pixels (density 400 pixels per thumb). Support the 90 Hz refresh rate. As a protection you use Gorilla Glass 5.[2]

The 5000 mAh lithium polymer battery supports the ultra-fast charging at 15 W and is not removable from the user.

The chipset is the Samsung Exynos 850. Internal memory, eMMC type 5.The first is 32/64/128 GB, while the RAM is 3/4/6 GB (based on selected model).

The sensor for fingerprint scanning is integrated into the ignition/display button.

The rear camera has 4 sensors positioned vertically, one main 50 Megapixel camera with f/1.8, one with 5 MP ultra-grandandular, one with 2 MP macro and one with 2 MP f/2.0 depth .The first is equipped with an auto focus, HDR mode and flash LED mode, capable of recording up to 30 full HD video frames per second, while the front camera is 8 MP and records video in full HD at 30 fps.[2]

The 5000 mAh lithium polymer battery supports the adaptive fast charge at 15 W and is not removable from the user.

The chipset is a MediaTek Dimension 700 5G. Internal memory, eMMC type 5.One is 64 GB, while the RAM is 4 GB.[1]

The rear camera has 3 sensors positioned vertically, one main 50 Megapixel camera with f/1 opening.8, one with 2 MP macro and one with 2 MP f/2 depth.The camera features an auto focus, HDR and flash LED mode, capable of recording up to 30 full HD video frames per second, while the front camera is 5 MP and records video in full HD at 30 fps.[1]

Software

The operating system is Android 12 with One UI 4.1.

Reception

The Verge noted that the device was a good budget option and stated that it had good battery life and performance but a weaker screen and camera.[6]
